  81 (yes, eighty one) norwegian pop and rock singers/bands want to celebrate the 50 th birthday of their great music idol prince with a cd-box containing one prince cover tune from each one of them.. however prince does not think this is a good idea and he has throu his lawyers stopped the project because it containes "unautorized arrangements"..... you can read it in the norwegian paper here... http://www.dagbladet.no/kultur/2008/04/21/533175.html.

  i had no doubts at all about the 'truth' untill a friend of mine in the cong' began falling away.

  in trying to help him i had to ask questions and do research and that of course cracked the doors of my mind open for the first time in over thirty years.. years ago, when jwd allowed members to have signatures, i used the following quote from voltaire as mine.

  The Death Penalty? What do you think?

  i, as most persons, think a sexual assault of a child is a very horrible thing.

  like most parents, i would want to put the person to death that assaulted my child in that way, but is that just?

  i'm two ways about it: i feel for the child, and the child's family; but at the same time i am wondering if it is deserving of death?

  Personally I think it would be much better to kill the creep and ship the money that we would otherwise spend on him to some starving children.

  I have heard that a death sentence is more costly that life prison. If thats true the economic argument falls.

  Im am against.
